Equipment supplier SACMI has appointed Andrea Grandi as group general manager.

Grandi, an electronics engineer, has 24 years of experience in the Italy-based company in various roles, and is noted for his technical and managerial abilities.

President of SACMI Paolo Mongardi said the appointment will strengthen the company’s “technological leadership”.

He also praised Mauro Fenzi, who is stepping down from the role of group general manager, for “technological and organisational innovation” during his tenure.
