Re:Water Signs Five-Year, Multi-Million-Pound Deal with Ball Corporation To Support Rapid Growth Jan 09, 2026

Premium aluminium bottled water brand Re:Water has signed a significant five-year, eight-figure contract with Ball Corporation, a global leader in aluminium beverage packaging.

Under this agreement, Ball Corporation will supply tens of millions of aluminium bottles to support Re:Water’s expansion across the retail, catering, and hospitality sectors, while also backing the brand’s dedication to sustainable packaging and circular economy initiatives. This deal extends the two companies’ long-term partnership and reaffirms their joint goal of promoting authentic sustainable packaging solutions. A key pillar of Re:Water’s sustainability strategy is using 100% recycled aluminium sourced locally from the UK and Europe, which helps cut down carbon emissions and avoids the environmental harm caused by long-distance imports.

Founded in 2021 and owned by Berrington Pure Spring Water, Re:Water has experienced explosive growth to become one of the UK’s top sustainable water brands. To date, it has sold over 12 million bottles, with its products stocked at high-profile venues and retailers including The National Trust, David Lloyd Leisure, Cornish Bakery, LW Theatres, The Eden Project, M&S, Pret, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, and Buckingham Palace, as well as more than 5,000 outlets across the country. The brand’s aluminium bottles, made from locally sourced recycled materials, are designed to be refilled, reused, and infinitely recycled, blending style, sustainability, and convenience to serve as a premium alternative to single-use plastic, cartons, and glass.

Earlier in 2025, Re:Water earned a King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation—one of only 46 UK businesses to receive this prestigious honour—and was invited to a celebratory event at Windsor Castle with King Charles.

Victoria Marletta, Commercial Vice-President of Personal & Home Care at Ball Corporation, commented that the company’s mission is to unleash aluminium’s infinite potential to build a waste-free world. She noted that modern consumers are seeking solutions that deliver both effectiveness and responsibility, and by collaborating with customers to create scalable options, Ball is driving aluminium innovations that reduce waste, lower emissions, and maintain product quality. She also praised Re:Water’s remarkable year-on-year growth and leadership in sustainability, saying the King’s Award was a well-deserved recognition of the brand’s market position.

Matt Crocker, Director at Re:Water, described the deal as a landmark moment for the business, which will support its next phase of growth. He highlighted the brand’s consistent high double-digit growth since launch, attributing it to consumers’ demand for better, more sustainable choices. Crocker emphasized that using locally sourced 100% recycled aluminium is non-negotiable for Re:Water, as this avoids greenwashing and enables the brand to stay true to its goal of being the most sustainable bottled water on the market with one of the industry’s lowest carbon footprints.

This partnership solidifies Re:Water’s position at the forefront of the sustainable beverage packaging movement, as it continues to pursue its mission of eliminating single-use plastics and advocating for circular economy practices.
