Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam (SPVB) has officially opened its brand-new beverage filling factory located in Tay Ninh. Valued at $300 million, this site becomes the firm’s sixth production base operating within Vietnam, as shared by the brand via its social media channels. The launch stands as solid proof of SPVB’s steady long-term investment plans and confidence in the Vietnamese market.
SPVB manufactures a wide portfolio of popular refreshments across its production lines. Its product lineup covers canned drinks such as Pepsi, 7Up, Tropicana and Boss coffee, alongside packaged bottled water and assorted carbonated soft drinks. The operator described the new Tay Ninh plant as a major milestone for its business expansion, built to realise its core goal of creating a forward-looking manufacturing centre focused on stable operation, high operational efficiency and eco-friendly development down the line.
Advanced digital and automated solutions run through every stage of the new factory’s workflow. The integrated smart systems cover raw material processing, production, storage and outbound logistics. Notably, the site houses SPVB’s first fully automated warehouse — a feature also rare among manufacturing facilities in the surrounding region.
Sustainable development was a central priority when designing and constructing the plant. Its eco-focused features align with LEED Gold standards, with production steam fully powered by biomass fuel. Additional green infrastructure includes on-site solar panels, complete water recycling and purification equipment, and a waste management scheme that sends no waste to landfills. Over one-fifth of the whole factory compound is laid out with green plant landscaping to further lower its environmental footprint.
