UK-based premium aluminium bottled water brand Re:Water has sealed a significant five-year, eight-figure partnership with Ball Corporation, a global leader in aluminium beverage packaging.
Under this agreement, Ball Corporation will supply Re:Water with tens of millions of aluminium bottles, fueling the brand’s expansion across retail, catering, and hospitality sectors. This deal also extends the two firms’ long-term collaboration, reaffirming their joint dedication to eco-friendly packaging and circular economy initiatives. A core focus of the partnership is Re:Water’s use of 100% recycled aluminium sourced locally from the UK and Europe, which cuts down carbon emissions and avoids the environmental harm caused by long-haul imports.
Founded in 2021 and owned by Berrington Pure Spring Water, Re:Water has experienced explosive growth to emerge as a top sustainable water brand in the UK. To date, it has sold over 12 million bottles, with its products stocked at high-profile venues including Buckingham Palace, the National Trust, and Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, as well as in more than 5,000 retail outlets nationwide such as M&S and Pret.
Re:Water’s aluminium bottles are engineered for refill, reuse, and infinite recycling. They blend style, sustainability, and convenience, serving as a premium alternative to single-use plastic, cartons, and glass containers. Earlier in 2025, the brand earned a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation—one of only 46 UK businesses to receive the honor—and was invited to a celebratory event at Windsor Castle with King Charles.
Victoria Marletta, Commercial Vice-President of Personal & Home Care at Ball Corporation, commented on the partnership: “Our mission is to harness aluminium’s full potential to build a waste-free world. Modern consumers are seeking solutions that deliver both effectiveness and responsibility. By collaborating closely with clients to develop scalable strategies, we’re driving aluminium innovations that reduce waste, lower carbon footprints, and maintain product quality. We’ve partnered with Re:Water for years and witnessed its remarkable annual growth. Their genuine commitment to sustainability makes them stand out, and this year’s King’s Award is a testament to their status as a UK market leader.”
Matt Crocker, Director at Re:Water, hailed the deal as a milestone for the brand: “This is one of our largest partnerships to date, paving the way for our next phase of growth. We’ve achieved steady high double-digit growth since our launch, which shows consumers are eager for more sustainable choices. For us, using locally sourced recycled aluminium from the UK and Europe is non-negotiable—without this, our product would be nothing but greenwashing. Our aim is to stay the most sustainable bottled water brand on the market, boasting one of the lowest carbon footprints in the industry.”
This partnership cements Re:Water’s position at the forefront of the sustainable beverage packaging movement, as it continues to pursue its mission of eliminating single-use plastics and promoting circular economy practices.
